Shu Pei Qin (in) Model’s Street Style
After Ermanno Scervino SS 2012, I caught up with Shu Pei in Milan. I love the simplicity of this outfit! Shu’s style has always been a standout! Before everyone was on board with “sheer gear” or dared enough to show more skin, it was actually Shu Pei in my opinion who was the original model who started this style movement that is now (two seasons later) so popular with model’s street style. <3

CNNGO: 5 Chinese Models to Watch in 2011
CNNGO recently used a few of my photos of Shu Pei Qin, Ming Xi, Sun Feifei, and Bonnie Chen for an article about “5 Chinese Models to Watch in 2011.” It was so fitting because I think everyone knows by now that the photographer who loves and promotes the Asian darlings the most is me.
I am very happy and appreciative that CNNGO chose to use my natural shots of the models. I prefer natural unphotoshopped and unedited beauty. Don’t you? No need to feed false images to the world.
Thank you CNNGO! But most of all, thank you to the models who have been so kind and lovely to this photographer!!! It is your kindness and true inner and outer beauty that have motivated me to continue photographing so unconventionally.
