MODELS, STREET STYLE, BEAUTY & SMILES IN THE CONCRETE JUNGLES OF NYC AND BEYOND
"Beauty may capture this photographer's attention, but personality will always steal this man's heart."
Bonae L'amour features photos of high fashion models in the streets, on the runways, or backstage shot by Damian Bao. Not simply just the model's street style diary, this is the cult go-to blog for raw inspirations for the models, beauty, street style, and fashion obsessed. [+++]

The one and only Magdalena after J. Mendel SS 2012 in New York City…<3
I have mad love and respect for Magdalena, and that appreciation boosted this past season back in March during Paris Fashion Week. After a show at Le Grand Hôtel, Magdalena and all the models exited. There were hundreds of people and photographers by the doors. Being claustrophobic, I tried not to be too close by the exits or in the pit closed to the paparazzi. Magdalena exited and stopped for the crowd. After that, she posed for a photographer, who shoots for a major American magazine. I waited on the other side of the street. I do my best never to intentionally block or interrupt anyone else while they are shooting. After stopping for everyone, Magdalena crossed and we greeted each other by her car and driver. Being a sweetheart, she stuck around for my camera before leaving. While I was snapping her, the same photographer (whom I waited after and already had his time with the model) crossed the streets, interrupted me, and said, “Look here sweetie,” repeatedly to try to get her attention again. What did Magdalena do? She ignored him until I got my shots and said goodbye to her. It’s not a big deal, but it was so nice that Magdalena didn’t let someone with a louder mouth and bigger ego than me have all her attention again after the same shots. That simple little gesture from her made her so much more endearing! Magdalena is boss! L’amour! =)
After Chanel SS 2012, I was in front of the Grand Palais trying to navigate through all the chaos and was able to catch sweet Magdalena in time when I headed to the back. The Grand Palais is one of the best places to snap models - unless it’s Chanel and suddenly there are a million exit doors that appeared overnight. =)

Starting now, I will be sharing a series of digital polaroids called “Around The World With The Models” to give you a fun, intimate, and nostalgic glimpse of the models I have been capturing in different cities around the world in the last 5 seasons.
As many of you who have been following for a while already know that although Bonae L’amour features a lot of street fashion because I love photographing in the open streets, the main objective is to capture and record these beautiful muses from the prestigious international catwalks and magazines in a special and natural light, showcasing a raw beauty that may not always be obvious to the eye. I intend to continue that because that is what motivates me to shoot. I am never chasing after the perfect pretty picture or the most popular and hyped girls of the season. I am chasing after a moment of true beauty, of genuine consent. And sometimes, when I am lucky, I capture a girl’s true soul.
There is beauty in actions, in smiles, in laughter, in emotions, in so many ways. Beauty is indeed diverse, and this does not only refer to the visual. So, anyway, I hope you gals and guys will enjoy the additional feature. ;)
I saw Magdalena on my first day in Paris and it was just a wonderful treat because Magdalena is always a gracious sweetheart and a doll to photograph! <3

How beautiful is Magdalena?! Always sweet and professional and giving it 120%, she’s one of the reasons why the street is my playground… Just gorgeous! <3
Magdalena Frackowiak & Maryna Linchuk (in) Model’s Street Style
While helping a friend who is in search of a winter coat, I dug into my Fall/Winter streetstyle archive for this picture of Magdalena and Maryna after Ralph Lauren FW 11.12. Magdalena’s red coat is very beautiful, and I am a big fan of dressing with one element that just pops. =)
